Leadership Intervention

Synergy in Leadership:The top leadership in any organisation often under-estimates its own potential in influencing its members to achieve the vision the organisation wishes to pursue. They are unable to see that it is 'they' who are responsible for creating the conditions in which people can perform at their best. They are too often focused outwards - getting influenced by what people are capable of doing, or how the markets operate, or how their customers respond.

Our Synergy in Leadership intervention is about helping leadership teams examine the deeply held beliefs about themselves and the organisation they are at the helm of. This intervention is a specially designed intervention, as it requires a collaborative effort with the organisational leaders before the first step is taken. Essentially, this intervention focuses on what we believe are some of the common dilemmas that leadership teams in organisations grapple with:

  1. Balancing divisional and organisational goals simultaneously
  2. Balancing task and relationship focus within their divisions
  3. Being supportive of one another, even as they demand accountability from each other.

  The combination of experiential and conceptual inputs is what makes this intervention unique. In addition, this is an on-going intervention which induces the leadership team to really take stock of where they are and where they want to go.
