Professional Member of the Indian Society For Applied Behavioural Science (ISABS) since 1998, Ganesh has also been a Sub - Editor, Lecturer, Content Manager, Human Resources Manager, Behavioural Scientist and Author in the 18 years since he began his career. His interest in Human Resources and Training was through a process of discovery. He began his career as Sub Editor for The Economic Times, and moved on to teaching Political Science as lecturer for six years. His entry into ISABS in 1995 facilitated his move into Human Resources and Training in the following years.
As Behavioural Scientist and OD Consultant, Ganesh operates with the belief that people, as individuals and as groups, will be more effective in their myriad roles if only they explore their fears and assumptions, and confront their resistances to change. His areas of professional interest and expertise are Team Building, Managerial Effectiveness, Value Clarification and Leadership Development.
Besides being a professional member of ISABS, Ganesh has also been on the Staff of Group Relations Conferences (also known as Working Conferences) since 2003. These conferences help the participating members to explore gender and authority dynamics in groups, at the conscious and unconscious levels.
Recently, Ganesh chose to take a year off to write about his passion – Hindi film music. His book ‘Bollywood Melodies’ has received a variety of good reviews in several dailies, magazines and many other forums. Published by Penguin in February 2008, this book is a seminal contribution to the world of Hindi film music.
