Viswanath's theme in life has been take seemingly uncalculated and ever-newer risks, rather in the fashion of diving backwards, without worrying about the consequences. The urge to give up a flourishing corporate career and start his own consulting firm arose from a need to seek newer experiences, learn and grow, and not worry too much about about the future. From beginning life as a software engineer, to becoming a Customer support executive, Product manager and HR manager in the succeeding years, Viswanath decided that 13 years in 3 organisations (the last an MNC) was sufficient experience to begin a venture of his own.
Now, 14 years later, Viswanath enjoys his work as an OD consultant and trainer, with newer and newer areas ahead of him to explore. His core purpose at work is to help people realise their true potential - or at the very least acknowledge that there are umpteen ways in which this can happen, provided they are willing to experiment. His beliefs are founded on his own personal experience of change, as well as his interactions with thousands of people over his lifetime.
Having facilitated over 300 workshops in different settings, sectors and countries, Viswanath brings with him eternal optimism, and at the same time a deep empathy for his participants, always acknowledging that change takes time and patience.
In addition to being an OD consultant, Viswanath is also a Trustee with Makkala Jagriti - an NGO in Bangalore, and is an Advisory Board Member of the Centre for Montessori Training, Chennai.
Currently, his areas of professional interest are Learning Organisations, Customer Service, Organisation Development and Culture (including Vision, Mission, and Strategy) and Personal Growth through using one’s strengths. He is also a serious student of Buddhism.
